We recently received an inspiring letter and video from the University of Maryland and wanted to share it with our readers. Vinaka and Enjoy!

Hello,

Greetings from the University of Maryland, USA!

I would like to introduce you to my students’ video production on climate change. Some of my students suggested to me to contact your office and try to promote their collective take on this very contemporary social global problem. We firmly believe that climate change should be solved collectively.

Video Below….

One of the biggest challenges came for us from the very simple fact that young Americans are less concerned than their international peers about what the warming of the planet will mean for them. Just 40% of Americans said climate change is a major threat to the U.S. in a poll conducted by the Pew Research Center in 39 countries in March and April. Globally, 54% of responders said climate change threatened their country, but in our class it was 100%!

We are thrilled that this video is becoming part of the public good! Please feel free to disseminate it among your constituency or social network.

Thank you on behalf of my students for your consideration.

Sincerely – Leszek Sibilski
