The initiative of the Society’s work was first developed by the following resort and tour operators, who showing their increasing concerns, realised that they should underwrite the works of the Society through donations and further support.

- Established in January 2000, Pacific Island Air Limited (trading as Pacific Island Seaplanes) primarily provides guest transfers to/from most upmarket off-shore resorts Fiji-wide such as in the Mamanucas. Pacific island Seaplanes operate a small fleet of two amphibious beaver seaplanes, turbine single otter amphibious seaplane and two Britten Norman Islander aircraft. Their operations are on charter basis during daylight hours. From time-to-time they carry out medical evacuations for the Ministry of Health mainly from remote islands that are inaccessible by conventional wheeled aircraft (to/from airstrips).
