Founding Members

The initiative of the Society’s work was first developed by the following resort and tour operators, who showing their increasing concerns, realised that they should underwrite the works of the Society through donations and further support.

Beachcomber Island Resort
The native name is Etai Island, which is also surrounded by a marine reserve that is managed by the resort and the nearby  Treasure Island Resort. Pacific Island Seaplanes
Established in January 2000, Pacific Island Air Limited (trading as Pacific Island Seaplanes) primarily provides guest transfers to/from most upmarket off-shore resorts Fiji-wide such as in the Mamanucas. Pacific island Seaplanes operate a small fleet of two amphibious beaver seaplanes, turbine single otter amphibious seaplane  and two Britten Norman Islander aircraft. Their operations are on charter basis during daylight hours. From time-to-time they carry out medical evacuations for the Ministry of Health mainly from remote islands that are inaccessible by conventional wheeled aircraft (to/from airstrips).
Sea Fiji
SeaFiji operates a private boat transfer service to the Mamanuca Group and lower Yasawa Group. We also specialise in game fishing, dolphin watching, secluded snorkelling and custom-made cruises to suit all your needs. Sonaisali Island Resort
Sonaisali Island Resort Fiji is situated on a small 105-acre private island just 2-minutes by boat from the mainland and 30-minutes from the International Airport. Tavarua Island Resort
Tavarua Island is approximately 29 acres in area, depending on the tide, and is surrounded by an elaborate coral reef. It is approximately a 30-minute boat ride from the Fijian main island of Viti Levu, and is situated on the south-western edge of Fiji’s vast barrier reef system.

The resort itself sits on an island known as Elevuka. Elevuka and Etai both share a marine reserve. Treasure has been involved with turtle head-starting programme for the past four years.
