Medical Specialists Peer Education Conferences (MSPEC) made a timely donation to MES after holding a conference in Fiji.

The donation was allocated towards the Environment Education program that MES conducts with three island community schools. The three schools, Namamanuca Primary School, Mana Seventh Day Adventist School and Malolo District School through MES have just established a new environment program promoting the three ‘Rs’ (reduce, reuse and recycle).

Through this program MES hopes to:

– Provide the opportunity for schools to start proper waste management.

– Target children in creating awareness of the concept of minimization at schools, homes and communities.

– Encourage sustainable management of recyclable materials and converting them into resources.

The timely donation by MSPEC was used for printing awareness materials, purchase of paint for beautification projects and construction of notice boards, vegetable seeds and

native fruiting seedlings, native fruiting seedlings, native trees, household gardening tools and sorting bags.

MES would like to sincerely thank MSPEC for their kind donation.
