The Mamanuca Marine Environment School Program ended with a hearty note on the 27th of August as the class 7 students of Malolo District School were awarded with certificates in front of the whole school. MES has enjoyed working with the school in educating their class 7 students on the marine environment with emphasis on coral reefs. Students were very receptive during lessons and expressed much interest to the topics. By the end of the programme, the students had gained sufficient knowledge, enough to allow them to make a difference. We believe that we have helped these students become responsible individuals contributing to the health and longevity of coral reefs and to the marine environment as a whole.
