COTs Current Efforts

Resorts

Resort members in the Mamanuca Region have initiated and agree that they will initiate their own programme for COTs removal within their own house reefs and dive sites.

Dive Operators

Mamanuca Environment Society has recently reinstated the Mamanuca Dive Operators Reef Check Survey Network (MDORCSN). These networks include all dive operators in the Mamanuca Region. All the dive operators are working with the Mamanuca Environment Society for their COTs removal programme and all data collected is kept in a database with the Mamanuca Environment Society (MES).
