Community Awareness in the Mamanucas

In the beginning of this year 2010 MES has strengthen our commitment with the four local village communities in the Mamanuca (Solevu,Yaro, Tavua and Yanuya) are now attending village meeting every month. The main purpose is to assist and advise local community on the important role they play in the conservation and protection of the environment and supportive role towards sustainable tourism. Also part of MES community initiative is to conduct environmental awareness workshop to all respective villages. In addition, MES upon the approval of the Tui Lawa now a member of the Bose Ni Tikina which was good news to the society.
