Volunteer COTs Removal Programme

Mamanuca Environment Society (MES) initiated the volunteer programme on the 14th of August 2007, where 6 volunteer moved into Raviniaki Camp site on Castaway Island. Members of the volunteers traveled from Suva and Nadi to remove COTs at the Mamanuca Region in support to the Resorts and Dive Operators COTs removal programme. The programme is for 1 month and at the end of the month, MES will re-assessed the programme and look at the feasibility of the programme for another 2 month.
